Sale Shopping in Leeds

THE CHRISTMAS SALES

Street fashion chain and Zara blouse sale find

As we all know the sales are on at the moment, and they are just too good to miss- despite the weather! If you haven't done your sale shopping yet, and you are wondering where to go first then Zara is definitely up there! It's one of my favourIte shops- purely just because of it's effortless and simple style. The black and white top I have on is from Zara for £23, and I'm very sorry as I can't remember it's original price! I was just too in love with the top to take any notice. I then also went to Miss Selfridge to buy this gold chain especially for this outfit, original price £12, sale price £6. Can't go wrong.

Beautiful Loafers from Office

To be quite honest with you, the only reason why I began searching to buy a new pair of shoes was because the heels I decided to wear (which can be seen on the previous post) absolutely killed my feet. Lesson of the day: Five inch heels are not suitable for the hectic Christmas sales- despite their beauty. But to every cloud there is always a silver lining, and these beautiful loafers from office at a sale price of £23 were definitely my silver lining to my dying feet. However, I definitely wont give up on breaking in my new heels, in fact I'll probably end up wearing them for my next shopping trip again! I also bought a stunning jacket from topshop, but I haven't got round to photographing that yet, but it will be on-line shortly.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

SANTA'S BEEN SHOPPING

I was so excited to find this spotlight hiding in the draws after many years of thinking it no longer existed! So yes I have gone a little over the top, the shadows are bigger than ever, the foreheads are shinier than ever, but the clothes are prettier than ever!

Topshop High Heels

These beautiful shoes are a lovely present from my parents, I love how tall they make me- although now I'm afraid I cant wear them around my boyfriend as he will look like a midget. Oh well they are totally worth it!

Vogue, Alexa Chung IT, vintage fashion, and British designers.

There's nothing better than good book about fashion. I love to wear clothes, but why pick a garment when you know nothing about it? Alexa Chung's book is AMAZING, I love the casual way she writes.. she's just cool. Oooo and the vogue in the top right hand corner was bought for me from my boyfriend- a whole annual subscription!

Little Black Number from Ark

This is my lovely new dress from ark, I particularly love the high neckline, adding a touch of sophistication and authority, then mixed with the femininity of the slit back.

Below is my new coat from zara. I love this style coat for the diversity of looks it allows. I can wear it casually and effortlessly by leaving the belt undone, or fasten the belt and show off a very feminine silhouette.

Chic mac coat from Zara

This beautiful watch was a present from two of my sisters- it's from TOPSHOP and it is a must have! I never knew how much better life would feel with the addition of a watch!

Great Gatsby Fancy Dress Party

I do apologise, for this week and this week only there will be no "Sunday Style Steal" I'm just very  busy doing lots of coursework at the moment! However, last night I went to a friends 18th and if you hadn't guessed already the theme was a "The great Gatsby" . I was so excited when I found out, and like all fancy dress events I was trying to buy an outfit which didn't cost too much, but more importantly an outfit I could wear again. I bought this black cami-like dress from asos for £22, the dress was such a good buy as not only did it look perfect for the event, but I can also re-wear it again and again- whether it's for a cocktail night out or just for a nice evening meal. I bought the heels last year for only £12 from primark. The necklace is Monet- very nicely lent to me from my nana! Finally for my favourite piece... the flapper band (for only £2.50 from Amazon)!

Autumn Outfit

Autumn is my favourite season- I love it even more than summer! This is mainly because I feel shops have the best collections in Autumn. In this photo I am wearing my new fluffy knit jumper from topshop- which I love so much as it is so lovely and warm! I'm also wearing a lovely tartan scarf my Nana gave me, which helps make a cream jumper look a little more interesting and festive. Finished of with my favourite HOBBS boots and handbag.
